Mary A. Ferring

Mary A. Ferring (nee Stuhlman) found peace Feb. 17, 2009, at the age of 93.

Mary is survived by her devoted children: son, Bill Ferring, and daughter, Susan (Terry) Foss. Mary is also survived by granddaughter Kimberly Foss (David Ernst) and was the loving “Gramma Gramma” of great-grandson Jackson Foss. Mary is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Bing; two brothers; and one sister.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Michelle Agnew and Dr. Richard Leech and their staffs, the Waukesha Fire Department and the emergency room staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for their patience and understanding. The family would also like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff on the Heart Care Unit at Waukesha Memorial for the kindness and compassion shown to Mary and her family during Mary’s last days.

Mary generously donated her body to the Medical College of Wisconsin. A private family memorial is pending.

Memorials made in Mary’s name to the Waukesha County Humane Animal Welfare Society or to the Food Pantry of Waukesha County are appreciated by the family.

Mary lived and died on her own terms and will be missed by all who knew her.
