Edward E. Casper, age
84, of White Lake, died Jan. 2, 2009, at Langlade Hospital in Antigo. Mr. Casper was born
Dec. 6, 1924, in Wauwatosa, the son of Margaret Casper Moran. He married
Beatrice M. (Wilson) Casper, and she preceded him in death. Mr. Casper was
employed as a police officer in the town of Summit and Dousman in Waukesha
County. He also worked as a truck driver. As a young man, he served in the
Civilian Conservation Corps. He raised his family
in Waukesha County and moved to White Lake 20 years ago. He was an avid
hunter and outdoorsman. He is survived by four
daughters, Bonnie (Lee) Hastings of Lawton, Okla.; Patricia Richards of
Madison; Dawn (Larry) Bolstad of White Lake; and Kathy (Richard) Hogle of
Waukesha; and a son, Phil Richard Casper. He was preceded in
death by a son, Robin Kiely, and grandson, Dana Barnett. Visitation will take
place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5 at Strasser-Roller Funeral
Home, 504 Edison St., Antigo. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been
