Eugene A. “Gene” Schlosser

Eugene A. “Gene” Schlosser, age 77, of Oconomowoc, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009.

Gene is survived by his loving wife, Jean, of 54 years; children, Dave (Jean) Schlosser of Oconomowoc, Diane (Gavin) McCalla of Coto de Caza, Calif., Bill (Mary) Schlosser of Oconomowoc, John (Patti) Schlosser of North Prairie, Lori (Brent) Campbell of Landrum, S.C., and Pete (Tami) Schlosser of Oconomowoc; sister, Olive Albright of Thiensville; and 15 grandchildren, James (Jen), Tim and Kacie Schlosser, Keaton and Grey McCalla, Adam, Danny, Kahlie and Willie Schlosser, Bradley, Nathan and Sean Schlosser, and Molly, Madalynn and Luke Schlosser; along with many other relatives and friends.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Stanley; brother, Robert; and son, Jim.

Gene was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman and he served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. funeral service Monday, Jan. 5, at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Dousman. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6 at St. Jerome Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Bruno Endowment Fund or to the Oconomowoc Area Baseball Club.
