Dorothy S. Nitka (nee Matuszak) died Jan. 6, 2009, at age 80.

She is the loving mother of Michael (Sandi) and Mark; loving grandmother of Cal, Matt, Meagan, Molly and Mark; cherished aunt of Doreen (Les), Mary Jo (Bob), Karen (Wayne), Lynn (John) and Vicky; and is further survived by other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
