TouSain ‘Tousy’ Storm Hunter

TouSain "Tousy" Storm Hunter, 76, of Lawton, Okla., died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, in Dallas.
She was born Nov. 1, 1932, in Merrill, to Harvey W. and Ione H. (nee Chauvin) Storm. As a young girl, she traveled with her family to various duty stations. She graduated from high school and attended Georgetown University. She married Horace Luckett Hunter Jr. in September 1954.
Ms. Hunter moved to Lawton in 1983.
Tousy was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister and she also served as an usher. She was a member of the Altar Society where she served as president. She was a member of the parish council and a school board member for St. Mary’s School. She was a Lady of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. She also was a member of the Army Daughters and the American Red Cross.
She is survived by her children, Ian H.L. (Kimberly) Hunter of Belton, Texas, Barbara L.S. Hunter of the home, Douglas A.S. Hunter of Kileen, Texas, and his wife, Laura Hunter of Lawton, and Anne H. (Alan) Bell of Tracy, Calif.; her grandchildren, Thomas, Cameron, Hank, Jessie Charlie, Mikhala, Ian, Emma and Kate; and her great-grandson, Trystan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. today, Jan. 13, at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel, 632 SW C Ave., Lawton, with the Rev. James D. M. Stafford, pastor emeritus, officiating. The funeral Mass for Tousy will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Rev. James D.M. Stafford officiating.
