Clare B. Turner (nee Stasko)

July 30, 1920 - Jan. 23, 2009

Clare B. Turner (nee Stasko), 88, of Eagle, passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc. She was born July 30, 1920, in Chicago.

Clare was a longtime member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, a member of the Eagle American Legion Auxiliary, the Eagle Homemaker’s Group and the Wednesday morning bowling league in Mukwonago.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Craig (Charlotte) Turner, Laurie Turner (Bill Radey), Nancy (Bill) Plastina and Christopher (Kimerling) Turner; her grandchildren, Jennifer Washburn, Jessica Roska, Ashley and Nathan Turner; and great-granddaughters, Lindsey Elizabeth and Addison Clare Washburn. Clare is also survived by her sister-in-law, Letty (William) Stasko, and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

Clare was preceded in death by her husband, Angus "Gus" Turner Jr., and her brothers and sister.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the noon Mass of Christian burial Thursday, Jan. 29, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 136 Waukesha Road, Eagle, with the Rev. Dennis Ackeret officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at St. Theresa’s Cemetery in Eagle.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to AngelsGrace Hospice in memory of Clare.
