Kenneth L. Lynch, PhD

Kenneth L. Lynch, PhD, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at age 88.

Dr. Lynch was preceded in death by his loving wives, Rita and Dorothy. He was the loving father of Michael Lynch, Ellen Lynch, Tim Lynch, Jane (Kevin) O’Dell and Sarah (John) Ferguson and was the cherished "grandpa-dad" of Sarah, Lee and Ian. He will also be remembered by other relatives and friends.

Dr. Lynch was a proud World War II U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed a long career as an educator and scientist at Marquette Dental School and the Medical College of Wisconsin until his retirement in 1995. He loved cross country running, sailing, swimming, traveling and reading.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. today, Jan. 28, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 1875 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at St. Anthony on the Lake, W280-N2101 Highway SS, town of Delafield. Internment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Please meet at the church.
