Mary J. Tumbleson (nee Baumann) of North Prairie died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, at her home at age 45. Mary inspired everyone with the way she courageously fought her cancer for over seven years. She was born in Milwaukee on Aug. 29, 1963, the daughter of Harry and Gail Baumann.
Mary was united in marriage to Tom Tumbleson on May 10, 1986. Maryís greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, friends and faithful companion, Toby.
Mary will be deeply missed by her husband, Tom; son, Vincent; parents, Harry and Gail; brothers, Tom (Anna) Baumann and Joe (Kathy) Baumann; and sisters, Lynn (Steve) Abresch, Cheryl (Alan) Ostrowski and Rene (Frank) Greguska. Mary is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Maryís family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Hendrikus Krouwer, his staff, Aimee Siller, RN, and the hospice team at Heartland Home Hospice for the excellent care and support given to Mary and her family.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. vigil service Friday, Jan. 30, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Visitation continues from 12:30 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral Mass on Saturday, Jan. 31, at St. Paulís Catholic Church, S38-W31602 Highway D, Genesee Depot. The Rev. Mark Molling will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
