Marjorie ‘Margie’ Sizemore (nee Russell)

Marjorie “Margie” Sizemore (nee Russell) of Waukesha died Sunday, July 12, 2009, at the Virginia Health Care Center at the age of 83 years. Margie was born and raised in the town of Genesee on Jan. 25, 1926, the daughter of William and Agnes Russell. 

She was in the 1944 graduating class of Waukesha High School. Margie lived in Ardmore, Pa., for 42 years. Margie was a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved living in Waukesha and walking downtown. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters. She will always be remembered for her loving and independent spirit.

Margie will be dearly missed by her son, Mike (Kristy) Sizemore of Waukesha; granddaughters, Daardi Sizemore of Mankato, Minn., and Kirstin Sizemore of Estes Park, Colo.; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Russell; and other relatives and friends.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, William Russell Jr. and Gerard Russell.

The memorial Mass for Margie will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 24 at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Curt Frederick will officiate. The visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the 11 a.m. Mass at the church.
