Norman L. Seltzer
Nov. 3, 1932 – June 14, 2009
Norman L. Seltzer, age 76, of Delafield entered eternal life June 14,
2009. He was born Nov. 3, 1932 in Milwaukee to parents Eugene and Dorothy
Seltzer. He will be sorely missed by his loving wife, Shirley (nee Jentz),
of 57 years, as well as his son, Steven, and daughter, Christine (Jim)
Wollerman. He was the proud and loving grandfather of Heather (Tom)
Russell and Eric and Heidi (fiance Erik Salm) Wollerman. Norman was the
brother of Marion Cleary and Sharon Flowers, and the brother-in-law of
Janet Vincent and Pearl (Jack) Whalen. He is further survived by dear
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Norm was employed in the steel service center
industry during his working years as a salesman and company officer of
Triple "S" Steel Corp. in Brookfield and Chicago. For the last
20 years, he owned and operated North Central Steel Corp. in Waukesha.
Norm attended the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Marquette University and joined the U.S. Navy
Reserve Submarine Division 9-227 in 1950 and was discharged in 1957. He
also was a member of the West Allis Masonic Lodge #291, Wisconsin
Consistory, Tripoli Shrine and the Milwaukee Athletic Club. He enjoyed the
outdoor sports of hunting, fishing, biking and travels outside of the
country and passed these loves onto his children and grandchildren.
Private family services were previously held with
burial at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the
Hawks Inn Historical Society (P.O. Box 180104, Delafield, WI 53018) would
be appreciated.
