Dennis L. Hockett Sr., 63, Lake Mills, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 31, 1945, in Waukesha, the son of the late Neil and Helen (Steinbach) Hockett.

Dennis married Barbara Szeflinski of Milwaukee on June 13, 2009, in Lake Mills.

Dennis had been employed by Drexel Interiors in Madison. His favorite pastime was golfing.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; their children, Michelle (Ken) Bartz of Lowell, Starr (Mark) Redhail of Madison, Dallas Redhail of Lake Mills, Shauna (Sean) Redhail of Onieda and Dennis (Bobbi) Hockett Jr. of Lake Mills; nine grandchildren; his siblings, Bill (Diane) Hockett of Florida, Sharon Granzow of Iowa, Ivy Becker of Pewaukee; a sister-in-law, Agnes Hockett of Merrill; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Also preceding in death was a sister, Ilene Schultz, and a brother, Jack.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
