Veronica 'Bonnie' Buske

April 12, 1922 - March 1, 2009

Veronica "Bonnie" Buske of Waukesha died Sunday, March 1, 2009, at the Masonic Center in Dousman at age 86. Bonnie was born in Waterford on April 12, 1922, the daughter of the late Andrew and Linley Eisenbart.

She was the manager of the children’s department at McCoy’s Department Store. Bonnie was a member of St. William Catholic Church. Her pride and joy in life was her family, crocheting afghans for each grandchild and great-grandchild.

Bonnie will be sadly missed by her daughter, Susan Bacskai of Oconomowoc; son, Jim (Stephanie) Buske of Sun Prairie; grandchildren, Rob (Cindy) Bacskai, Amy (Bret) Achtenhagen, Andrew (Amy) Bacskai, Joshua (Piper) Bacskai, Dina Lee (Greg) Bell and David Buske; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Nicholas Bacskai, Brady, Linley and Sophie Achtenhagen, Owen and Eva Bacskai, Eily Bacskai and Hannah and Henry "Hank" Bell; brother, Andrew (Gini) Eisenbart of Burlington and special niece, Jane Neist. Bonnie is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Edward Buske, and son-in-law, Robert Bacskai.

A memorial Mass for Bonnie will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 5 at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Leonard Barbian will officiate. A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of the 4 p.m. Mass on Thursday at the church. Memorials in Bonnie’s name may be directed to Rock for Reading, a charitable foundation that fights illiteracy, 516 N. Ogden Ave. No. 260 Chicago, IL 60622, or to St. William Catholic Church (address above).
