Joan Senger (nee Yadro)

Joan Senger (nee Yadro) of Waukesha died Thursday, March 5, 2009, at the age of 72. Joan was born in Milwaukee on May 26, 1936, the daughter of Matthew and Margaret Yadro. Joan retired from General Electric, where she was employed as a secretary for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Big Bend, loved gardening and photography and enjoyed the company of her collie, Riley.

Joan will be sadly missed by her son, Raymond “Butch” Senger Jr. of Waukesha; her daughters, Linda Senger of West Allis and Julie (Kevin) Coffey of Vacaville, Calif.; her grandsons, Matthew (Erin) Senger and Joel Coffey; her sister, Judith (Ken) Van Dillen of Vienna, Va.; her niece, Amy (Brian) Summers, other relatives and friends. Joan was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation for Joan will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha. The funeral Mass for Joan will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, S89-W22650 Milwaukee Ave., Big Bend.
