Marvin Tio Jr.
February 15, 1931 - March 8, 2009
Marvin Tio Jr. found peace Sunday, March 8, 2009, at the age of 78.
He is lovingly survived by his children, Deborah Hole, Dennis, Daniel (Irene), Dianne (James) Schmitz, Dawn (Ron) Conn; and his children in spirit if not in name, Mike and Mary Cull. He is the loving grandfather of Kristina, Kevin, Danny (Iwone), Jared (Julie), Jaimee, Amy, Andrea, Gage, Nathan and Mitchell and seven great-children. He is further survived by his sister, Dona Moore; sister-in-law, Betty Tio; brothers-in-law, Don (Kate) and Clarence (Betty) Anderson; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie, in 2004; his parents, Marvin and Dorathy Tio Sr.; his brother, Maurice Tio; brother-in-law, Dick Moore; and son-in-law, Brian Hole.
Marvin was an avid hunter and fisherman, who enjoyed casino trips, was active in Land of Lakes Baseball and was an avid Brewer and Packer fan. His favorite pastime was visiting with family and friends.
Special thanks extended to the Virginia Health and Rehab Center for the outstanding care given to Marvin, and for treating him as part of their family.
Visitation will be held form 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. service Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha.
