WAUKESHA

LeRoy W. Hood

April 20, 1950 - March 22, 2009

LeRoy W. Hood of Waukesha, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, March 22, 2009, as the result of a motorcycle accident at age 58. He was born April 20, 1950, in Milwaukee, the son of Albert and Florence Hood.

LeRoy will be deeply missed by his family and many good friends. He will be remembered for his humor, spirit and determination to live life to the fullest. LeRoy loved working on cars, fishing, camping, playing cards, cribbage and riding his custom-built “three-wheeler” motorcycle. A self-taught man, he could fix just about anything and heaven now has a first-rate mechanic. He was a people person who could talk to anyone and was a professional BS’er. His fun-loving and generous spirit made him friends wherever he went.

LeRoy will be sadly missed by his son, Richard (Michelle) Hood; daughters, Tracy (Donessa) Hood-Davis and Aleasha Hood, all of Fond du Lac; the mother of LeRoy’s children, Vicki Hood; and grandchildren, Cassandra, Jazzlynne, Jada, Shelby, Gavin and Paige. He is further survived by his sisters, Marianne, Rose and Arlene. He was the special “Dad” to Jennifer Keizer, Tina Keizer and Kenneth Dahms. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many buddies also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ora; and a nephew, Jason.

Visitation will be held from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service Friday, March 27 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.

There will be a huge void in our lives that only God and love can heal. He will be sadly missed, daily. We love him very much. With a tear in our eye and a lump in our throat, our memories and love will live on, and our thoughts will always be with him.
