William E. Rossman

William E. Rossman joined his son, Scott, in heaven Monday, May 4, 2009, at age 86.

Bill was a World War II Air Force veteran and member of American Legion Post No. 8 of Waukesha. He loved hunting, fishing, watching all types of sports, and last but not least, tending his carrots and tomatoes in the garden that he loved.

He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Betty (nee Diedrich); loving father of Sharon (Ron) Krueger, Penny Grundman and Wm. II (Cindy) Rossman; proud grandfather of Karrie, Krissy, Chad, Terresa, Wm. III, Lindsey, Benji, Chad and Marko; wonderful fun-loving great-grandpa of Ali, Connor, Aryana, Emma-Jean, Alyssa, Wm. IV, Autumn, Christian, Caleb, Garrett and the late Dominic; and special friend of Jim and Shirley Muth. He is also loved by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, May 6, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha. Burial with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 7, at Prairie Home Cemetery.
