Corliss ‘Corky’ Tadder

Corliss ‘Corky’ Tadder, of Waukesha and Richland Center, passed away surrounded by the love of his family Monday, May 18, 2009 at age 70.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol (nee Weyer). Corliss was the loving father of Debbi (Jerry) Wentland and Steve (fiancee, Karin) Tadder, and the cherished son of Cardell and the late Bernard Tadder. He was the dear brother of Prentiss (Dorothy) Tadder of Richland Center and Lois (Robert) Avila of Racine, as well as the loving grandpa of Julie (Sean) Bayless and Jenifer (Mike) Henke.

Corky was loved and will be remembered by seven great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Arliss and Donald Tadder.

Corky was a proud member and past president of Local No. 392 and a retired member of Local No. 113.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 21 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 300 Carroll St. in Waukesha, where Corky was a 49-year member and usher. The funeral service will be celebrated at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Gary Liedtke officiating.
