2009 James A. “Jim”
Putz, a lifelong resident of Jim was born Dec. 2,
1933, the son of Samuel and Florence Putz. After high school, he proudly
served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. Jim worked for his
father’s company, Putz and Evans. When his father retired, he and James
Mann started their own company, Mann and Putz. He later formed his own
company, the James A. Putz Co., until he sold it when he retired. Jim had
a passion for his family’s involvement with horses, was a sports fan,
loved gardening, fishing and most of all, his family. Jim will be sadly
missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Corinne; daughters, Roxanne (Thom)
Anderson of Eagle, Cheryl Putz of Pewaukee and Dawne Tabat of North
Prairie; grandchildren, Corey, Lacy and Katie Knoelke, and Angie and
Lindsey Tabat; his aunt, June
Fryatt of Waukesha, other relatives and many friends. A funeral service will
be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, at the Cesarz, Charapata &
Zinnecker Funeral Home, In lieu of flowers,
