Marjorie E. (nee Dungey) Tates, 88, formerly of Waukesha, entered eternal life May 21, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jake, dearest daughter Linda DeGodt and sisters Janice Wilson and Mary Reddish. 

She was the dear mother-in-law of Robert DeGodt, dear sister of Lois (Alan) DeMerritt, Ruth (Walter) Evert and Helen (John) Mueller, as well as the dear stepmother of Carol (Erling) Kolstad. Marjorie was the proud grandmother of Brian (Patricia) DeGodt, Matthew (Sherri) DeGodt, Carrie Sokol and five great-grandchildren, and she is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha, followed by a 1 p.m. service with an interment proceeding to Prairie Home Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
