Michael John Wilde, 43, of West Allis died Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at West Allis Memorial Hospital. Michael was born Feb. 6, 1966, in Milwaukee.

He was a 1984 graduate of Mukwonago High School, a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, involved with the West Allis Little League and was currently employed as a press operator for Heritage Printing Co. in Brookfield. Michael was an avid Badger fan. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his children.

Michael will be sadly missed by his daughter, Sarah; son, Aaron; parents, Gary and Barbara Wilde of Big Bend; brother, Mark Wilde of West Allis; sister, Michelle (Dan) Schmidt of Waterford; grandmother, Phyllis Seefeld of Big Bend; nephews, Jacob and Brady; and aunts and uncles, Gail and James Kusch of Scottsdale, Ariz., Ralph Seefeld of Kewaskum, and Jeff and Mary Seefeld of Big Bend. Michael also is survived by cousins, many friends, Sarah’s mother, Sheri Gottfried, and Aaron’s mother, Angie Rios.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emil and Myrtle Wilde, and grandfather, Harvey Seefeld.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 700 Beechwood Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Arthur Koepsell will officiate. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of the 7 p.m. funeral service. Entombment will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha. Meet in front of the cemetery office.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for his children’s education funds are appreciated.
