Deacon Dennis Anderson

Jan. 20, 1943 - Nov. 6, 2009

Dennis Anderson was born in Lake Mills on Jan. 20, 1943, to the late Mildred and Arthur Anderson. He peacefully joined his savior Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at AngelsGrace Hospice.

He was the best friend and husband of Mary (nee Owley); father of Michael (Emilie); loving grandpa of Grant; and brother of Donna (Bob) Hall. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. 

Dennis was ordained as a deacon in 1992 and served at St. Anthony’s on the Lake Catholic Church. Dennis joyfully served his savior and church for many years, training eucharistic ministers, teaching a high school religion class with his wife, parent baptismal classes and had the honor of baptizing many babies. He and Mary spent many years working with RCIA program and enjoyed learning about other religions.

A memorial gathering will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon memorial Mass on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at St. Anthony on the Lake, W280-N2101 Highway SS, town of Delafield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Diabetes Association are appreciated.

The family would like to thank all the loving staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, East Dialysis unit, Fifth Floor, and AngelsGrace Hospice for the wonderful care given to Dennis.
