Agatha E. (Gersek) DeMeuse, 95, of Green Bay, passed away Nov. 4, 2009. Agatha was born Nov. 8, 1913, in Walhain, to the late Joseph and Lena (Pinchard) Wery.

She was married to George Gersek, and he preceded her in death in 1973. Later, she married Fred DeMeuse, and he also preceded her in death in 1994.

She is survived by nephew Bruce Wery, Waukesha; niece, Brenda (Richard) Herzog, Waukesha; great-nieces, Jenna Wery and Andrea and Cary Herzog; stepson, Todd DeMeuse, Algoma; sisters-in-law, Annette Wery and Lorraine Gersek; nieces and nephews, Edmund “Jr.” Gersek, Gail Wing, Kathy (Roger) Bodkin and Diane (Tom) Bisick; as well as other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by brother Arnold (Shirley) Wery and brother-in-law Edmund Gersek Sr.

Friends may call at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams, Green Bay, on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. until the 10:30 am. Mass of Christian burial at the church, with the Rev. Kenneth Degroot, O.Praem officiating. Interment will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
