MUKWONAGO Donald A. Zingsheim Aug. 26, 1929 - Nov.
5, 2009 Donald A. Zingsheim,
of Mukwonago, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Waukesha Memorial
Hospital. He was 80 years old. Donald was born in
Waukesha on Aug. 26, 1929, the son of Phillip and Hilda (nee Zellmer)
Zingsheim. He was a graduate of
Mukwonago High School and a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean
Conflict. Donald retired from Waukesha Roofing after 43 years of service.
Donald was a very caring person and a “father” to many. He was a very
avid Mukwonago Indians football and baseball fan, known to many as “The
Legend.” He was the beloved
husband of Ilene; dear father of Linda Couillard, Donna (Donald) Von
Rueden and Terry (Tracy); loving grandpa of Michael, Heather, Ryan,
Kristen, Sean, Eric, Sophia, Will and Loren; and dear brother of Robert
(Margaret). He is further survived by five great-grandchildren, other
relatives and friends. He was preceded in
death by his parents; his first wife, Mary Lou; a Visitation will be
held from 4 p.m. until the time of the 7 p.m. funeral service Monday, Nov.
9, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 315 Main St. (Highway ES),
Mukwonago. The Rev. Rick Hartley will officiate. Cremation will follow. For any other
