Shirley Ann Jahnke

Shirley Ann Jahnke, 78, of 480 13th Ave., Town of Rome, Adams County (Nekoosa), formerly of Waukesha, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nekoosa. The Rev. John Swing will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Menasha.

Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. to noon Friday. Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home of Nekoosa is assisting the family.

Shirley was born January 30, 1931, in Appleton, to Joe and Marie (Wiesgerber) Kraft. She married Jack Jahnke on July 27, 1957, in Menasha. He died May 22, 2008.

She is survived by four children, Michael (Polly) Jahnke of Racine, Mark (Michele) Jahnke of Merrill, Joseph (Barb) Jahnke of Warner Robbins, Ga., and Mary Jahnke of Prairie du Sac; 11 grandchildren, Jason, Taylor, Grant, Hope, Sammy, Tim, Logan, Luke, Brianna, Tanner and Emma; and one brother, John (Dru) Kraft of Winneconne

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister, Joan Wielock.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Heart Church or Adams County Food Pantry.
