Robert F. ‘Bob’ Leder Jr.

Bob was born in Columbus, Neb., on Jan. 23, 1930, and went to join his first wife Dolores on Oct. 30, 2009, at age 79.
He was the beloved husband of Audrey; cherished father of Valerie (John) Jansen, Janine (Dave) Wildt and Robert J. (Nadine) Leder; grandfather of Melina, Sam, Anne, Andrea, Amanda, Dieter and Courtney; brother of Arlin (Nancy), Lee (Lourdes) and Kenneth (Janice); and is further survived by stepchildren Scott, Terry and Sandy; stepgrandchildren, a stepgreat-grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
After leaving the Air Force in 1952, Bob went to the Milwaukee School of Engineering and earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and worked as an electrical engineer for 36 years, retiring from Envirex. Bob was an avid traveler who loved history, science, flying his RC airplanes, fishing and football. He was greatly cherished by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial services will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at St. Adalbert Cemetery. A memorial gathering will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
