Irving E. Bonniwell June 14, 1915 - Nov. 14, 2009
Irving was a graduate of St. John’s Military Academy and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Delafield American Legion Post 196 and active in the Forty & Eight Society. Irving was a volunteer firefighter in Delafield for many years and owned Bonniwell Department Store. He will be sadly missed by his son, Eugene (Lorraine) Bonniwell of Waukesha; his granddaughter, Sheila Bonniwell of Sussex; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nettie; brothers and sisters, Glenn, Wes, Vi and Margaret; and his parents. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, Nov. 20, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial with full military honors will follow at Delafield Cemetery.
