Edward ‘Ed’ Louis Kral

Edward "Ed" Louis Kral, of Waukesha, formerly from Chicago, went home to our Lord on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Care-Age of Brookfield at the age of 90.

Ed proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Chicago for more than 40 years. Ed will be remembered for his kind heart and generous spirit.

Ed is the beloved husband of more than 57 years to Evelyn (nee Petrzilka); proud father of Raymond "Ray" (Donna) and Robert "Bob" (Mary); beloved grandfather of Jeremy, Justin, Jordan, Moriah and Nora; a niece and nephew; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded by his parents and brothers, Joe and George.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral Mass on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 Highway 59, Waukesha, WI 53189. The Rev. James Loehr will officiate. There will be a second funeral for Ed on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service at the Svec & Sons Funeral Home, 6227 Cermak Road, Berwyn, IL 60402. Burial will take place at Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago, IL.
