Virginia Mae (Dahlgren) Carlson of Palmyra, born on Sept. 8, 1928, entered into eternal life Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009.

"My Rose," beloved wife and companion of Garith Darwin Carlson of 62 years; cherished mother of Sherry (Carlson) and Stephen Zampack, Christine (Carlson) and Bill Quade, Cynthia (Carlson) and Albert Gagliano, April (Carlson) and Scott Marshall; loving grandmother to Heather (Zampack) and Brad Townsend, Jason Penoske, Shanna Penoske, Jeffrey Gagliano (deceased), Cindy (Ciara) Gagliano and Gina Rose Gagliano, Joshua and Alexandra Marshall; and great-grandmother to Elizabeth Townsend.

Daughter of Lillian and Ralph Dahlgren (both deceased); beloved sister of Eugene Dahlgren, Delores (Dahlgren) and Donald McLellan (both deceased), Vicky (Dahlgren) and Warren Knippel; sister-in-law to Rollo (deceased) and June Carlson, Betty and Joseph Mancini (both deceased), Richard and Joan Carlson, Yvonne Crimmins and David Carlson; and beloved aunt of Shelly and David Faust, Sheila and Dwight Nelson, Sharon (Carlson) and Gary Rosenmeier, Steve and Mila Carlson, Jackie (Carlson) Neubauer, Jay Carlson, Michelle and Justin Faust. We also want to include in the remembrance of Ginny all of her dearest family and friends she has known throughout her lifetime.

Visitation will be held will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, with coffee and snacks available during visiting hours. Visitation continues from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday, Nov. 23, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Christian O’Dell presiding. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.

At the funeral home as requested by Garith, there will be made available a time capsule where you may place your personal thoughts or pictures that will be placed under her monument and remain with Ginny forever.
