Shirley S. Johns

Shirley S. Johns (nee Scott), the former Shirley Hartman of Pewaukee, found peace Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at the age of 80.

She was the wife of the late Floyd Hartman and the late Alfred Johns; loving mother of Bill (Laurie) Hartman and Larry (Carrie) Hartman; stepmother of Bonita DuPont (Tim) and Brad (Linda) Johns; and grandmother of Jessie, Stefanie (Demetrius) and Travis (Brittany). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and her beloved friend and companion, Bob Teschner. Shirley is further survived by other relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Oct. 22, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha. Private interment will be at Highland Memorial Park on Friday.

Shirley was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Waukesha. She is loved and will be deeply missed by all.
