Faith P. Schlieter

Faith Schlieter, 81, of Neenah, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at Cherry Meadows in Appleton. Faith was born Feb. 6, 1928, in Milwaukee, daughter of Lawrence and Florence (Wenta) Graves.

She married Ernst Schlieter on Sept. 5, 1953, at Ascension Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Faith was a member of First Congregational Church in Wauwatosa. She was a traditional artist for many years and later became involved with collecting and dealing antiques.

Faith is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ernie; sons, Kurt (Cathy) Schlieter of Neenah and Eric (Christel) Schlieter of Menasha; three grandsons, Andrew, Paul and Phillip Schlieter; brothers, Daniel (Patricia) Graves of Texas and Donald (Patricia) Graves of Florida; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Graves of Franklin; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Faith was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Fred Graves.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with the Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.

A memorial has been established for the Animal Welfare League of Neenah, 951 County Trunk G, Neenah.
