V. Ristow of Waukesha died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at Waukesha Memorial
Hospital at the age 78. Lois was born Jan. 28, 1931, the daughter of Ray
and Delores (nee Stingle) Mueller. Lois
was a devoted member of St. William Catholic Church. Flowers and gardening
were two of her favorite hobbies she liked doing in her spare time. Lois
traveled to Rome and enjoyed taking bus tours. She embraced learning how
to use new gadgets such as televisions, loved capturing life events by
taking pictures and took great pleasure in the simplicity of gambling. One
of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her friends and
family. Lois
leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Jan (Gregg) Janke of Waukesha,
Diane (Doug) Spencer of Waukesha and Barb (Bill) Ryder of Maceo, Ky.; her
sons, Ernest Ristow Jr. of Waukesha and Steve Ristow (Tammy) of Sussex;
her brothers, Raymond (Marlene) Mueller of Sussex and Ken (Dorothy)
Mueller of Tacoma, Wash.; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and
counting; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She
was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bruce Mueller.
Visitation
will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Wednesday, Sept.
9, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The
Rev. Curt Frederick will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow at
St. Josephユs
Catholic Cemetery, Waukesha. Memorials
are appreciated to St. William Catholic Church or the Schoenstatt Sisters,
