TOWN OF VERNON Herman M. Rossbach Nov. 3, 1930 - Sept.
2, 2009 Herman M. Rossbach of
the town of Vernon was born Nov. 3, 1930, in Greenfield, and was born to
eternal life Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, after a courageous battle with
cancer. He was the beloved
husband of 59 years to Shirley (nee Fredrick); loving father of Gene,
Glen, Gail (Bill) Hribar, Geryl (Sue), Bret (Kaylee) and Terry; proud
grandpa of Jason Rossbach, Jenelle Rossbach, Tim Rossbach, Jennifer (Jeff)
Nickerson, Joleen (Rob) Sawall, Jacquelyn Hribar, Calvin (Jamie) Merath
and Kara Rossbach; great-grandfather of
Ashlie, Tony, Cruz, Brenden, Alanna, Madison and Lauren; dear
brother of Pete (Delores) Rossbach, Viola (Mike) Kies, Joseph (Katie)
Rossbach, Ralland (Betty) Rossbach, Doris (Fayette) Lloyd, Rosemarie
Rossbach and Mary (Tom) O’Day; and brother-in-law of Evelyn Fredrick. He
is also lovingly survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and
friends. He was preceded in
death by his parents, Peter and Loretta Rossbach. Herman retired from R.
Fredrick Redi-Mix. He enjoyed growing farm produce and selling it at
markets and fairs. Herman also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, playing
cards, watching Westerns, country music, PBR and playing video machines. Visitation will be
held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Becker Ritter Funeral
Home, 14075 W. North Ave., Brookfield, and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m.
until the time of service at 11 a.m., followed by a procession to
Wisconsin Memorial Park for graveside services. In lieu of flowers,
memorials to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the Diabetes Association
