Margaret A. Zellner

Margaret A. Zellner of Delafield passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at the age of 87. She was born Oct. 7, 1921, in Milwaukee, to John and Loretta Heim.

Margaret married Elmer A. Zellner on June 28, 1947. Elmer preceded her in death Jan. 21, 2009.

Margaret is the loving mother of Paul (Jackie) Zellner, Donna Casper and Ramona Lynn Zellner. She is further survived by her brothers, Dick (Audrey) Heim, Jack (Bernice) Heim and Ray (Betty) Heim, and a sister, Ruth (Gordon) Prestby. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, Tom, in 1965; her sister, Genevieve, in 2009; her son, Dana, in 2003; and a nephew, Michael Heim, in 2009.

Margaret was a Coast Guard veteran in World War II, a member of the Delafield American Legion Post 196 and a member of the Delafield Golden Agers. Margaret was also a homemaker and a foster mother.

Friends may visit from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral Mass on Saturday, Sept. 12, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 120 Nashotah Road, Nashotah, WI 53058. Her final rest will be at St. Joan of Arc Cemetery.
