Vivienne (Huber) Staufenbeil, 93, of Greenfield, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at the Clement Manor in Greenfield.
The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Briggsville, with the Rev. James Murphy celebrating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Briggsville. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the 11 a.m. service Friday.
Vivienne was born Feb. 20, 1916, in Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Leonard and Anastasia (Jarosh) Huber. She and her husband, Arthur, retired to Florida. After he passed, she moved back. She enjoyed Brewers baseball, NASCAR racing with Jeff Gordon and most of all, her family and friends.
Vivienne is survived by her sons, Wayne (Patricia) Staufenbeil of Racine, John "Jack" Staufenbeil of Lake Havasu, Ariz., and David (Jean) Staufenbeil of Franklin; daughter, Diane (Michael) Nolte of the United Kingdom; brother, Urban (Eileen) Huber of Oxford; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers, Harold and Stanley.
