Walter F. “Bink” Krug

Walter F. “Bink” Krug of Waukesha died peacefully and surrounded by love Thursday, April 1, 2010. He will be missed by all the lives he touched as a kind, gentle and good man.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Phyllis. He is survived by his daughters, Debra (Michael) Keshan and Donna (Robert) Kindred; son, David (Alice); grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, Toni, Daniel, Shane and Adam; and great-grandchildren, Marguerite, Adrian, Preston, Raevyn and Rhylea. He is also survived by his very special friends, Melvin and Marjorie Stark; sister, Loretta Velte; and his caregiver, Nick. He is further survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Do we need to mention his borrowed dog, Abby? I think so.

Walter loved to work in his workshop and garden.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road, Waukesha. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m.

Thank you so very much Barb for your generosity.

The “Squirrel House” would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Heartland Hospice for their loving, dedicated and caring service in taking care of Walter.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation for the most wonderful, compassionate, caring and dedicated caregiver, Nick.
