Suzanne "Sue" "Susie" Loomis (nee Marquardt) died peacefully on Good Friday, April 2, 2010, at the age of 62.

She was beloved wife of John for 39 years; loving mother of Brian (Tara) and proud grandmother "Grandma G" to Nicholas Sean, Connor Harold and Irelyn Mae; and devoted mother of Kari Skoufis (Tony). Sorrowfully, she will miss the arrival of their first child, Sam. She is survived by her mother, Genevieve; sister, Nancy O’Keefe; and brother, Dean Marquardt. She is further survived by relatives and many good friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold; and her brother-in-law, Kevin.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. memorial Mass on Friday, April 9, at St. Paul Parish, Highway 83 (north of Highway D), Genesee Depot (968-3865).

Susie had a zest for life, enjoyed helping others and her passion for cooking was known by all! We will miss her dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Ronald McDonald House are appreciated.
