Aug. 16, 1915 – April 1, 2010


Margaret Isabelle (Parker) Wesaw of Oconomowoc passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010, at the age of 94. She was born in La Crosse on Aug. 16, 1915, a daughter of the late Olin and Isabel (Reed) Parker.

She was married to Paul Christensen and they raised a daughter and two sons. Margaret was a kind woman who loved to make people smile. She will be sadly missed.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Paula (Bob) Cooley of Oconomowoc; son, Bruce (Sandy) Christensen of Cambridge; and grandchildren, Sarah (Kevin) Ball, Paul (Mary) Cooley, Billy (Anne) Cooley, Patrick Christensen and Brian Christensen. She will also be remembered by her great-grandchildren, Kaden and Logan Cooley and Makenna and Elise Cooley. Margaret also leaves a sister-in-law, Lavern Christensen; her former daughters-in-law, Karen and Karen Hayes; as well as other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Paul Christensen, Lloyd Dillon and Tom Wesaw; as well as by her son, Curtis Christensen; a sister, Dorothy; and her brothers, Curtis, Donald, Dean and Kenneth.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, April 17, at Salem United Methodist Church, 541 Highway 59, Waukesha, with the Rev. Linda Vance officiating.
