July 24, 1923 – April 25, 2010


Norbert T. Bureta, age 86, of Naples, Fla., for the past 31 years, formerly of Waukesha, passed away April 25, 2010.

Mr. Bureta is survived by son, William T. Bureta (Caron) of Brookfield; daughter Carol Hargreaves (Jay Hargreaves) of Waukesha; daughter-in-law, Sandy Bureta of Rhinelander; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Bernice Bureta and Margarite Miller of Sun City, Calif.

He served proudly in the Army during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific theater Southern Philippines, Luzon and New Guinea. He was decorated with the Purple Heart, Philippines Liberation Ribbon and Asiatic Pacific Service Medal.

Mr. Bureta was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty, of 58 years, and son, John T. Bureta.
