Janet Z. Moore of Waukesha went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, at the age of 62.

Janet was born in Hartford, Ill., on Feb. 9, 1948, a daughter of the late Frank and Elain (Wollenweber) Guntrum. She married the love of her life, Al Moore, on Jan. 26, 1974, in Cottage Hills, Ill. Janet has lived throughout the years in Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Texas and Wisconsin. Her girls and grandchildren were her pride and joy; she loved telling stories of the kids.

Janet will be sadly missed by her husband of 36 years, Al; daughters, Kandis (Allen) Hock of Oak Creek, Jamie (Stephen) Vance of Appling, Ga., and Melinda (Brad) Kendall of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and grandchildren, Skylor, Kirstynne, Ryan, Bailey and Hunter. She is further survived by a brother, Frank Guntrum of Benton, Ill.; sister, Jeanne (Jeff) Lusk-Gutterman of St. Charles, Mo.; and mother-in-law, Mary Moore of Bethalto, Ill.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 5, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Visitation continues from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, Aug. 6, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Pete Peterson officiating. Burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery immediately following the service.
