Kathleen L. "Kathy" Herbst, age 62, was born into eternal life on Monday, Aug. 16, 2010.

Kathy was the loving mother and best friend of Rob (fiancee Melissa) Ertl and Jenelle (Scott) Boers and the proud grandma of Alyson and Marisa and soon-to-be Jasper.

She was the beloved daughter of Fred (the late Carrie) Scheidegger, dear sister of Dennis (Karen) Scheidegger and Carol Scheidegger and sister-inlaw of Conrad (Lori) Herbst. She will also be missed by many other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 9306 W. Beloit Road, Milwaukee, from 9 a.m. until a 10:30 memorial Mass on Friday, Aug. 20.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
