Peter Vukodinovich

Peter Vukodinovich, 84, of Eagle, passed away Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Peter was born July 3, 1926, in Milwaukee, the son of George and Mary Vukodinovich. He retired, after many years of service, from the township of Eagle. Peter was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 535 and a member of the United Methodist Church in Eagle.

He was the loving husband of 52 years to Arlene (nee Frey); dear father of Dwayne, Craig (Gail), Mona (Steve) Pett, Jeff (Cindy), Bruce (Pam) and Brian (Trisha); cherished grandfather of Terri (Chad) Sill, Ashley, Brittni, Lydia, Kayla, Trent and Catrice Vukodinovich, Kyle (Holly), Megan and Danielle Pett, and Paul Crowell; and the greatgrandfather of Kyle and Brook Sill. Peter is further survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary; siblings; and in-laws, Jerome and Ruth Frey.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. celebration of Peter’s life today, Aug. 24, at Mealy’s Funeral Home, 103 W. Eagle St., Eagle. Private burial will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove.
