Charles J. ‘Chuck’ Wamser
Aug. 25, 1940 – Aug. 17, 2010
Charles J. "Chuck" Wamser of Pewaukee died unexpectedly Tuesday,
Aug. 17, 2010, at the age of 69.
He was the loving father of Jerome (Denise) and the late John M. Wamser.
"Grandpa Chuck" cherished his grandchildren, John and Katelyn.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Sylvester and Joanne.
Chuck most recently lost his younger brother, Richard. He is also
remembered by his brother, Gregory, many other relatives and loving
friends.
Chuck was a member of the UAW and he retired from Chrysler. Chuck lived a
full life with many accomplishments. An all-American entrepreneurial
spirit flourished with the many business ventures, which he built from the
ground up. One of his favorites was being the president of Pro-Form, the
exclusive sports program of the Ali/Forman "Rumble in the
Jungle" held Oct. 30, 1974, in Zaire, Africa.
Chuck was also involved in many hobbies: classic cars, sports, games,
hunting and fishing with friends. He was also a lifelong learner who
studied religion, history and philosophy.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian
burial Monday, Aug. 30, at St. Anthony on the Lake Church, W280-N2101
Highway SS, town of Delafield, followed by graveside services at St.
Joseph’s Cemetery, Waukesha.
