Evelyn ‘Evie’ Paullin Clauer
April 13, 1921 – Aug. 24, 2010
Mrs. Evelyn "Evie" Paullin Clauer was born April 13, 1921, and
passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at her residence surrounded by her
loving family. She was 89, a native of Stuart, Iowa, and a resident of
Amite, La., for four years. She was formerly a resident of Delafield for
28 years and of Clinton, Ark., for 28 years.
Mrs. Evie is survived by her children, David Schaefer of Rockford, Ill.,
Darrel (Pam) Clauer Jr. of Crabtree, Ark., Frank (Sue) Clauer of
Helenville, L. Pearl (Vincent) Goetsch of Coker Creek, Tenn., Wanda (Kirk)
C.T. Van Den Heauval of Germantown, Susan (Bruce) Kemmerling of Watertown
and Kathleen C. (Dickie) Davis of Amite; 21 grandchildren; 23
greatgrandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maylon Kirk and Gladys Brooks
Paullin; husband, Darrel "Red" Clauer Sr.; daughter, Victoria
"Vickie" Clauer; two brothers, Delmar Paullin and Wilber Paullin;
and a granddaughter, Michelle Kemmerling.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service
Sunday, Aug. 29, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave.,
Oconomowoc. Interment will be in Delafield Cemetery following the service.
Mrs. Evelyn’s heavenly journey will also be accompanied by her faithful
canine companion, Copper. Pallbearers will be Patrick Pinard, Joe Faretta,
Tom Ballard, Dickie Davis, Russ Johnson and Jimmy Clauer.
