WAUKESHA
Jean M. Wilcenski
July 3, 1934 – Nov. 28, 2010
Jean M. Wilcenski was born July 3, 1934, on Dopp Street in Waukesha, the
daughter of Clayton and Clarice (nee Lattin) Jackson. She was nicknamed by
her mother as "my 1/2 of a firecracker baby." Jean found perfect
peace in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010.
A lifelong resident of Waukesha, she married Jerome Wilcenski on Nov. 19,
1955. Together they raised a family of four children and ran a family
business. They bred and showed strong-line black Clydesdale horses. Jean
loved being a mom and spoiling her grandchildren. Her famous Grandma Jean
blankets were loved by everyone who received one.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Anthony (Deb) Wilcenski of
Waukesha, Theresa (Dan) Spinella of Florida, Linda (Delbert) Nader of
Waukesha and Thomas Wilcenski of Waukesha, and daughter-inlaw, Connie
Wilcenski of Pewaukee. She is further survived by six grandchildren,
Jerome Andrew II, Jennifer (Brad) Freitag, Joseph Wilcenski, Nathan Nader,
Claire Nader and Anja Wilcenski; her sister, Kathryn (Warren) Reese of
Elgin, Ill.; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome; her parents, Clarice and
Clayton Jackson; and a brother, Clayton Jr.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on
Thursday, Dec. 2, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave.,
