Jerome A. ‘Jerry’ Halvorson

Jerome A. "Jerry" Halvorson of Waukesha, surrounded by his loving family, went home to the Lord on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at his home at the age of 57 years. Jerry was born Sept. 4, 1953 in Fosston, Minn., a son of Otto and Alna Halvorson.

He married the love of his life, Mavis (Higginbotham) on Nov. 23, 1974. Jerry was a member of Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, Waukesha. His number one priority in life was his faith in God. Together, Jerry and Mavis owned and operated their family business, Badger Lubrication Technologies Inc. Jerry’s greatest joys were spending time with his family and being at the family cabin.

Jerry will be dearly missed by his wife, Mavis; children, Nicole Halvorson and Jeremy (Katie) Halvorson; granddaughter, Quinn; brothers, Orlie (Holly) Halvorson, James Halvorson and Donald (Kelly) Halvorson; and sisters, Janice (Richard) Stormo, Carol (Ordean) Sundrud, Lois (Leonard) Ball and Linda (the late Kenny) Maruska. Jerry is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 6 p.m. memorial service Tuesday, Dec. 7, at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2016 Center Road, Waukesha, WI 53189. The Rev. David Zandt will be officiating.
