June are all deceased.
Arnold was drafted into the Army in 1950. He was in the second infantry

38th Regular Army. He received many awards and metals. He was offered the
Purple Heart Medal of Honor but turned it down. After the service, on Oct.

married, they bought a home in Hartland, where they raised their six
children.
He worked at Borden’s in Waukesha until the factory closed, and from
there he went to work at Carnation Company in Oconomowoc, where he retired
in 1985. In 1978, Arnold and Fyrn bought a farm in Stone Bank. There he
enjoyed raising chickens, turkeys, guinea hens, horses, lamas, rabbits,
peacocks, cats and dogs on their farm. His favorite was his horse, Pride,
and dogs, Princess and Heide. Both Fyrn and Arnold enjoyed growing a huge
garden with all the vegetables you could imagine. He was a member of the
Veterans of Foreign Wars of Oconomowoc. He enjoyed talking and doing
things at the VFW with his friends. Arnold always kept himself busy. He
enjoyed playing with his grandchildren when they were younger. He would
also sit out on the tree swing and tell them stories. With the boys, he
