Ralph O. Barndt Jr.

Ralph O. Barndt Jr. of Waukesha passed away peacefully with his family by his side Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Ralph was born Aug. 4, 1927, in West Milwaukee, the son of Ralph and Ruth Barndt Sr.
He married the love of his life, Betty Jane (nee Schroeder), on May 26, 1951. Ralph was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Ascension Lutheran Church of Waukesha for the past 35 years. He worked at Ameritech for 42 years, enjoyed golf, and was an avid bowler and sports fan.
Ralph will be dearly missed by his wife of 59 years, Betty; children, Daniel (Cindy) Barndt, Thomas (Carrie) Barndt, David (Theresa) Barndt, Richard (Laura) Barndt and John (Carolyn) Barndt; grandchildren, Bryce, Jessica, Ryan, Bryan, Jason, Erin, Jennifer and Eric; step-grandchildren, Ronda and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Kira, Sean, Bryce Jr., Kayleigh; and step-great-grandchildren, Carter, Hayden, Trinity and Brett. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Earl and Dale.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the 12:30 p.m. funeral service Friday, Dec. 10, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Burial with military honors will immediately follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
