WAUKESHA
Avery Lee Reed
Dec. 31, 1966 – Dec. 18, 2010
Avery Lee Reed, 43, of Waukesha, was granted his
angel wings on Dec. 18, 2010.
His valiant battle with cancer ended at
AngelsGrace Hospice of Oconomowoc. He was a lifelong resident of Waukesha
County and attended Waukesha North High School.
Avery had a quick smile and quirky sense of humor.
He loved his family and friends, and fun. He was proud to be employed by
Burton & Mayer Inc. of Menomonee Falls and truly enjoyed working
there.
Avery is survived by his loving parents, Avery and
Janet Reed of Leesburg, Fla.; his sister, Holly Holmes (James) of
Waukesha; his brother, Craig Reed of Forest, Ind.; his sister, April Reed-Bergthold
(Dennis) of Davenport, Iowa; his brother, Jeff Reed (Anne) of Waupaca; his
uncle, Al Barth (Maria) of Brookfield; as well as many wonderful friends
everywhere.
Avery gave us all such courage and hope and
reminded us of the preciousness of life through his illness. He fought
hard and never gave up.
His visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 23, followed by a 6 p.m. service at Church and Chapel
Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha (highways J and JJ, about four
blocks south of Interstate 94).
Our family wishes to thank Doctors Antony Ruggeri
and Sanjay Singh as well as AngelsGrace Hospice for the compassion and
care with which he was given.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to
AngelsGrace Hospice.
Church and Chapel, Rudolph-Larsen Bros., 549-0659,
is serving the family. For obits, condolences, directions or a memorial
tribute slide show, visit the Web at www.churchandchapel.com.
The quality of existence far exceeds the quantity
of time in which one lives.
