Carol J. Wuchterl, age 77, passed away Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010 at Watertown Regional Medical Center.

The former Carol J. Pfeil was born September 16, 1932 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Raymond and Lena (Truber) Pfeil.

On Jan. 27, 1951 she married Raymond Wuchterl in Waukesha. He preceded her in death Feb. 19, 1981. Carol is a retiree of Perry Printing of Waterloo. She had been a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Waterloo.

Survivors include her children Linda (Martin) Smith of Watertown, Mark Wuchterl of Watertown, Bruce (Susan) Wuchterl of Marshall and Debra (Del) Bauer of Waterloo, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brother and sisters Daryl (Phyllis) Pfeil of Nekoosa, Betty (Al) Knak of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Audrey (Richard) Lufter of Apache Junction, Ariz., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was further preceded in death by her parents.

A private family funeral service has been held at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home And Cremation Service in Watertown.
