Francis Edward "Ed" Lapp of
Waukesha, found peace on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at LindenGrove Health Care
in Waukesha. He was born Dec. 19, 1932 in Columbia, Iowa. Ed was a veteran
of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Eagles Club for over 30 years. He
was also a retiree of Cooper Power Systems.
He is survived by his 8 children: Susan Lapp of Snohomish, Wash., Al
(Wendy) Lapp of Oconomowoc, Russ Lapp of Waukesha, Mike Lapp of Sedro-Woolley,
Wash., Bill Lapp of Los Angeles, Calif., Lisa (John) Swenson of Sedro-Woolley,
Wash., Tim (Tess) Lapp of Waukesha and Shannon (Andy) Hill of Waterford.
Ed is further survived by his brothers Bill (Carol) Lapp of Phillips,
David (Robby) Lapp of Florida and Allen (Mary) Lapp of Alabama, as well as
brother-in-law Glenn Jamieson of Florida.
Ed is also loved and survived by numerous grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other
relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents,
Beulah (nee Wright) and Albert Lapp, and his sister Shirley Jamieson.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5 at Church and
Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha (on the corner of
highways J and JJ, about four blocks south of Interstate 94). An Eagles
memorial service is to take place at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials
to Linden-Grove of Waukesha are appreciated.
